What can we produce?

The final list depends on how you intend to publish the series. YouTube episodes, a website feature and short LinkedIn or Instagram clips each need a clear purpose. We agree the number of episodes, extracts and formats before recording.

Plan a conversation people want to hear

Begin with the audience and the subject. What can the guest explain from experience? Which questions will help the discussion move beyond familiar talking points? A short topic outline can keep the recording focused while leaving room for an unexpected answer.

For a series, give each episode its own reason to exist. A succession of closely related conversations can work well when the guests bring distinct knowledge or perspectives. The production plan should reflect that editorial structure.

Can we record at our own location?

Yes. We can plan an on-location recording or a suitable studio setup, depending on the format and look you want. Share photographs of the room and tell us about the space available, background activity and access times.

A visually attractive room is only part of the decision. Air conditioning, nearby conversations and interruptions can affect speech recording. We consider the recording environment alongside the background, seating and camera positions.

If several contributors are joining, include their availability. A prepared setup with realistic recording slots helps keep the session organised without rushing the conversation.

Full episodes and clips need different edits

A complete episode gives a discussion time to develop. A short extract needs enough context to stand on its own, especially when someone encounters it in a feed without seeing the original recording.

We plan for both when they are part of the brief. Tell us which aspect ratios you need and whether captions, name titles, supplied graphics or transcripts should be included. This informs the compositions during recording and the work required afterwards.

Can photography be included?

Yes. Host portraits, guest portraits and launch images can be included in the production. Those photographs need their own time and compositions, even when they use the podcast setting. Send the intended website, episode-cover or promotional layouts so the image requirements are clear.

Planning a series

For recurring recordings, consistency matters across the background, lighting, framing and graphics. Share your expected publishing frequency and the number of guests or episodes you want to record in a session.

We can then discuss a repeatable production arrangement. A series also needs a clear review process: who checks names and specialist facts, who approves the edit and when those decisions are needed for publication.

What affects the cost?

Recording time, camera coverage, location, episode length and the number of extracts all affect the quote. Photography, captions and other additional work should be included in the enquiry.
