Photography and video rates
Our rates provide a starting point for commissioning commercial photography, film production and event coverage. No VAT is charged.
Each quote reflects the production and finished work required, including the subject, location, preparation and post-production. Share the full brief so the scope can be assessed against the actual commission.
Commercial photography
For commercial, corporate, advertising and studio photography:
Half day, four hours: from £700.
Full day: from £1,400.
Additional shooting time: £175 per hour.
The rate includes all usable digital photographs, edited and colour corrected, delivered at full resolution with usage licences. Retouching and photo manipulation are additional, at £450 per day or £60 per hour.
Tell us the intended uses when enquiring so the relevant licence details can be confirmed in the quote. The licence should specify the agreed uses clearly.
Commercial videography
For commercial films, property videos, business presentations, personal branding, interviews, social content and documentaries:
Half day: from £800.
Full day: from £1,600.
Additional shooting time: £200 per hour.
The published rate includes two days of post-production per shooting day, covering work such as editing, colour grading and sound editing.
Intro animations, subtitles, graphic overlays and motion graphics may carry an additional charge, starting at £75 per hour or £600 per day. Include these requirements in the brief so the quote can make their scope clear.
Event photography
Half day, four hours: £480.
Full day: £960.
Additional coverage: £120 per hour.
The rate includes digital photographs edited and colour corrected, delivered at full resolution with usage licences. Retouching and photo manipulation are additional, at £450 per day or £55 per hour.
Event videography
Event video coverage is listed at £150 per hour or £1,200 per day. Tell us the event programme and finished videos you need so the filming and editing scope can be confirmed in your quote.
Campaign packages
For a planned campaign with defined films and cutdowns, view our campaign video packages. They start from £1,800 and have their own published asset lists and production scope.
A package and a day rate describe different ways of scoping a project. The package focuses on a group of outputs; the rate card provides a starting point for discussing the time and work involved.
What should I send for a quote?
Include the subject, location, preferred dates and intended uses. For photography, list the people, products, rooms or moments you need covered. For video, describe the main film and any additional edits or formats.
Share the deadline and any access restrictions too. If a budget has been set, include it so the scope can be discussed realistically.
What if I need photography and video?
Send both sets of requirements. We can discuss how they fit together within a production schedule and identify the time needed for each. A combined brief should still be clear about the photographs and films being commissioned.
How do I compare a rate with a package?
Compare the actual work included: shoot time, preparation, editing and finished versions. A meaningful comparison considers the complete production and its deliverables. If you are unsure which route fits your brief, send the requirements and we can discuss them against the rate card and package options. The quote should give a precise account of the commission and its deliverables.
