Commercial photography in London
We create commercial photography for businesses, brands and agencies working in London, across products, food, interiors, property, corporate portraits and events.
A campaign image, an ecommerce collection and a leadership portrait each need a different approach. We work with your visual direction and intended layouts, then plan the lighting, locations and photographs around them.
Products and packshots
For a product brief, the first decision is what the customer needs to see. Clear packshots can show the item and its details, while styled photographs can place it within a wider visual idea.
Send the number of products and variants, required angles and background preferences. If a retailer or platform has supplied image requirements, include them before the shoot is planned.
Food and hospitality
A restaurant brief may need dishes, drinks, interiors and portraits, rather than food photographs alone. The schedule should make room for each subject and fit around the working business.
Share the menu items, service times and people involved. If photographs need to sit within a particular website or printed layout, send the design requirements so the necessary crops can be considered.

Interiors and property
Interior photography can explain a room as a whole and give attention to materials, furnishings and smaller features. The balance depends on whether the images are for a design portfolio, property marketing or another use.
Let us know which spaces are available, when they will be ready and what access restrictions apply. Preparation and styling should be considered before the photography begins.

Corporate portraits and teams
For team photographs, consistency and scheduling are central to the brief. Tell us how many people need a portrait, whether there is an existing style to match and where the pictures will appear.
Environmental portraits and wider workplace images can be included as a separate part of the plan. Read about corporate portraits for more on preparing a session.
Company events in London
For conferences, launches, networking and awards, the running order helps define the coverage. Identify the key people and moments, alongside the uses for the final collection.

Photography within a wider campaign
Our Pepperbox Wines commission, produced with Brightful and director Camilla Coope, combined campaign photography with six promotional films. The Hinds Head photography in Bray, made through Beyond, brought together food, portraits and interiors. These examples from the wider portfolio show how we approach a varied brief when working with a brand and its agency.
Planning the location and schedule
Send the actual London address with your brief, along with loading, parking and access information where relevant. Let us know if the shoot depends on a building opening time, a short access window or the availability of particular people.
If the project involves several locations, allow for travel and setup between them. These practical details influence the schedule as much as the number of photographs required.
Photography and video together
We also produce commercial films. If you need both formats, include the stills and video requirements in the same enquiry so they can be planned together.
Share the intended layouts
If the photographs will fit a new website or campaign design, send examples of the placements. A wide header, a small profile picture and a full-page image can need different compositions.
The same shoot may be able to provide several options, but those needs should be visible in the brief. It is more useful to plan the required variation than to assume one photograph can be cropped successfully for every possible use.
